Wanted to draw something with flowers after buying an unhealthy amount of perfumes, because I really like that brand and the free stuff~ I love perfumes that have very subtle and natural floral scents. Almost like being covered in flowers, which is what inspired this drawing.

My only class for today was canceled, showed up and there was a sign mocking me. So I get extra time to do stuff like clean. Heheh. Day of the dead doodle. I really like all the nifty stuff that pops around here during this time. All the stuff is so cool and colorful. All the stuff makes me think of my grandparents, I wish they would visit during the holidays, but my grandma hates how cold it gets. When I was younger they would bring me all these bright and colorful stuff and such pretty jewelry and clothes. Now whenever they come they give me twenty dollars and tell me to treat myself to something from the ice cream truck. I don’t think they realize how old I am. Hahah. I’m so pumped for all the holidays coming up.

Process of Painting

Some process pics, but I forgot to take some parts to it. Just an idea to how I usually paint. Colors look different due to lighting in room.

By the way,100th post, thank you to all my followers. You guys are awesome.

Quick sketch to have an idea of where to place characters.

Draw on larger piece of watercolor paper. Start with background. I forgot to take a pic of when it was drawn.

Dried background. Look at all the colors, now watch it become more colorful.

Add details to background, like trees.

More details to background and lay colors for characters.

Added all details and finished.

Scan and adjust colors for finished piece, tah-dah.
